Your advantage #1
The only Optical QC fully embedded into your Masa plant.
The Masa Optical Quality Control System (OQC) is not an addon. It is a part of your Masa plant control. All quality data is automatically linked with recipe parameters, machine settings and the virtual Board ID in real time.
Your integration advantages: • Seamless data flow without external software • Automatic presetting based on recipe and product-specific tolerances • No teaching required for new products • Digital tracking via virtual Board ID, without RFID • Complete traceability of all relevant quality and process data
OQC by Masa. The only system that truly understands your Masa plant.

Your advantage #2
Full clarity along the entire production line.
From the moment of inspection to the cured product, the Masa OQC provides continuous, inline visibility of quality status and deviations.
Wet side: • Immediate feedback of freshly produced products • Optional raw-density evaluation (Calculation of the average raw density of a product layer)
Dry side: • Proactive quality monitoring with preview function for curing chamber and lowerator • Additional quality status display on the dry side
Across both sides: • Board-specific logging and complete traceability • Early detection reduces rejects and stabilises output

Your advantage #3
Supporting your team – every shift, every condition.
Masa OQC equips operators with the realtime information they need to react quickly, minimise manual inspection effort and maintain consistent quality, regardless of staff changes or production complexity. Operator advantages: • Real-time insights on all control panels • Clear visualisation of deviations and affected products • Fewer unnecessary interventions • Consistent quality even with changing personnel • Smart configuration (e.g. indicator lights, configurable auto-stop on wet and dry side) • On-premise data storage for full control and security • Fast technical support via the Masa Hotline, available 24/7 OQC by Masa. See more and react faster.
What OQC detects
The Masa OQC uses a high-resolution RGB camera system and a 3D surface scanner to capture detailed image and geometry data of every product. Its precision enables the detection of even the smallest deviations during production.
Detection capabilities and technical specifications:
• Height deviations with ±0.5 mm accuracy (25–500 mm product height) • Surface defects from 1 mm² • Lifted areas from 0.5 mm height difference • Fine cracks from 0.5 mm width • Edge chipping • Smooth inclusions (e.g. gravel grains, colour or cement balls) • Color anomalies in singlecolour products • Differentiation between defects and impurities
Developed by the people who think about concrete, all day long.
Our two Concrete Heads are driving the development and continuous improvement of the Masa OQC, bringing practical experience and deep technical understanding into every feature.
